Thick Plate Toolings

The thick plate tooling is used for processing ultra-thick plates, with thickness ranging from 6mm (0.24") to 12mm (0.47"). KETEC uses high-performance LD material with excellent wear resistance and toughness. Our in-house heat treatment process enhances material performance, while our exclusive TiCN coating further extends the die's lifespan for demanding applications.

Copper Busbar Punching Tool

The primary challenge in copper plate stamping is the material’s adhesion to the punch. KETEC addresses this by using a precision polishing process to enhance the punch's surface finish, paired with DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating technology. This combination achieves a cutting edge surface roughness of less than Ra 0.4, effectively minimizing copper adhesion to the punch edge and significantly extending the tool life.
